Non-Immigrant Visas Services

  Monday-Friday by appointment only.  To make an appointment, contact the visa information call center at 4008-872-333. If calling from outside of mainland china, please dial: 86-21-3881-4611.

The Non-immigrant Visa Services and American Citizen Services Sections are located on the 8th floor, Westgate Mall, 1038 West Nanjing Road.  Anything mailed or otherwise delivered to the Consular Section must be sent to the main consulate general compound at 1469 Central Huaihai Road (Huaihai Zhong Lu), Shanghai, China 200031.

American Citizen Services

• American citizen services:
  Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am and from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm, except on Tuesday afternoons. ACS will be closed on Tuesday afternoons and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Education Hour for U.S. educational institutions and exchange organizations: Education hour sessions will be held every Wednesday at 3:30 pm in the consular section American citizens services waiting room, 8th floor, Westgate mall, 1038 West Nanjing road.

Tuesday from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
