If your current non-immigrant visa has expired within the past year, AND the “CONTROL NUMBER” printed on the visa is less than 20073250000001, you are eligible for this program.  However, you will need to come to the US Consulate in Shanghai to provide us with a “10-Print” Fingerscan.  Once you submit your application to a participating CITIC BANK DROP BOX location, you will be scheduled for a convenient time to appear at our consulate solely for a quick “10-Print” fingerscan.

During your last application for a US Non-Immigrant visa, you previously provided us with a scan of your left and right index finger.  On November 21, 2007, our policies changed, requiring all non-immigrant visa applicants to supply us with a complete “10-Print” fingerscan at their interview. 

In the future, if your visa was issued and we have your “10-Prints” on file, you will be able to easily renew your visa using the CITIC BANK Drop Box Program without having to come to our offices for an interview nor a new”10-Print” fingerscan. 

If you were under fourteen when your last visa was issued, you were not required to complete a fingerscan. If you are now over fourteen years of age, you will need to appear at the US Consulate to provide us with a “10-Print” fingerscan.

In order to participate in this program, please click on the link below, and prepare the following documents exactly as listed.  Then submit all items to a participating CITIC BANK US VISA DROP BOX location.  CITIC BANK will work with you to assign a convenient time to appear at our consulate for a “10-PRINT” fingerscan.
