ECNU’s brand-new Center for American Studies   

 

Public Affairs Officer Tom Cooney presents a poster commemorating the 30th Anniversary of restored diplomatic relations between the U.S. and China to Dr. Jin Hengshan, Vice-Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, on February 25 at East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai.  Cooney also helped inaugurate ECNU’s brand-new Center for American Studies at an earlier ceremony that gathered senior university officials and current students focused on American studies.  ECNU is designated a “key” university by the national Ministry of Education.
