U.S. Consulate General Shanghai Hosts Pre-Departure Orientation
for Chinese Students Going to Study in the United States
The U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai will host a pre-departure orientation for students in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui who have received student visas to the United States. This free seminar will take place in June and is designed to help prepare first-time U.S. university students for studying and living in the U.S. The briefing will cover a variety of topics, including campus life, customs and culture, entry into the U.S., classroom expectations and etiquette, among others.
Registration for this free seminar is required and seats are limited!

and we will respond with details including the date, time and place of the orientation session.
Only students who have been issued a visa are eligible to particpate.
Those who have not yet received their visas may not attend this event. All participants will be asked to show their passport and visa at the door. No exceptions will be made.
