Taste Authentic America--Food Festival Celebrated in Shanghai

Sponsored by U.S. Agricultural Trade Office and the Southern U.S. Trade Association, the City Shop American Food Festival opened in Shanghai on August 14, 2009. The promotion featured American Craft Beer, California fruits, walnuts and wines as well as U.S. dairy products, lentils and Washington Apples. A total of 3,000 U.S. food products including over 100 new-to-market-items, were featured.

U.S. food products must abide by rigorous quality control standards that have been developed in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. By adhering to the strict production practices, sanitary and quality standards, we try to guarantee that consumers obtain safe, high quality and nutritious products.”
